College guidance for students beginning as early as grade 6, and as late as grade 12

Reach, match & safety

Built around your student

Scholarships, tracked

Deadlines that don’t sneak up

How it works

One profile. A plan that grows with it.

Build the profile

For students over 13, they share grade level, coursework, interests, and goals, and parents have the option to connect their account and track their child's progress. For students under 13, parents can give their child a headstart by creating their own account that can allow them to advise their child from an early age.

Get the plan

Coveway turns the profile into a semester-by-semester roadmap: College matches, scholarships, and activities that fit.

Grow together

Students work the plan week by week. Parents/guardians follow progress and deadlines from their own dashboard, for visibility without hovering.

Features

Everything that shapes an application, in one place

College lists, scholarships, activities, planning, parent/guardian visibility, and AI help usually live in six different tools. Coveway keeps them in one shared plan.

College matching that shows its work

Reach, match, and safety lists built from grades, interests, and budget. Every school comes with the reason it made the list.

Scholarship discovery

Matches from national programs to local awards most families never hear about, with deadlines tracked automatically.

Activity tracking that strengthens your essays

Log your activities, roles, and impact as they happen, so you have real stories and details to draw on when it is time to write and improve your college essays.

A multi-year roadmap

Semester-by-semester milestones from wherever your student starts through application season, adjusting as goals change.

A dashboard for parents/guardians

Progress, deadlines, and alerts within your dashboard.

AI help built around your plan

Ask Spark, our AI assistant, answers admissions questions using your own colleges, roadmap, scholarships, and activities. The AI essay coach asks questions and gives feedback, but never writes your essay.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Coveway is an AI-powered college admissions prep platform for students in grades 6–12 and their parents/guardians. It brings college matching, scholarship discovery, activity tracking and recommendations, and a multi-year planning roadmap into one shared plan.

Earlier than you might think. Students can start as early as 6th grade, when there is still time to build habits, explore interests, and shape a profile over multiple years. Students who join in 11th or 12th grade still get a focused plan to get into their top choice schools.

No. Coveway coaches essays the way a good counselor would, by asking questions and giving structural feedback. It can fix grammar or rephrase a specific sentence your student asks about, but it will not write the essay, or a paragraph of it, for them, and it never writes into the draft. That protects academic integrity and keeps students safe under college AI policies.

It depends on your child's age. For a child under 13, the parent/guardian is the sole account holder: you create the account and set up their profile. For a student 13 or older, the student has their own account and is the main user, and a parent/guardian can connect their own account to it. A connected parent/guardian gets a read-only view of overall progress and progress by area, upcoming deadlines, GPA and test scores, the roadmap grade by grade, saved colleges and scholarships, the activities list, and essay progress as a completion percentage.

The platform can be used completely free of charge. Payment is optional for expanded benefits, but is not necessary for our platform to help students optimize their college prospects and scholarships.

No. You should be skeptical of anyone who does. Coveway helps students begin preparing as early as fits them, aim at the right schools, significantly lower their college costs, and apply to college with a profile that optimizes their prospects.
